Tomorrow

A better day will come 

With the moment of the hands of the clock 

And the setting of the sun 

Tomorrow 

Holds all that life has is store 

New dreams, hope and aspirations 

A new song, a new door to escape from 

The pain and heartache of the day before 

Tomorrow is the yesterday of today 

So before I get out of bed, I pray that 

Today will be the best tomorrow ever 

I will accomplish all that I set out to and better myself 

Yesterday’s guilt, shame and bruises are long forgotten 

Today is the tomorrow of my future 

Now is my time to be 

Now is my time to see 

It is time to envision it, believe it and walk in the path of destiny 

Yesterday has tested me, but today is tomorrow which is not promised 

So I make this oath that as long as I am on this earth 

I will be grateful 

I will express this gratitude by being true to myself 

Not afraid to be me, to be individual 

Because in today’s world these are very few 

I will love, be joyful and find peace in myself 

Today 

Because why put it off for tomorrow

It's been a very long while since I've written anything but now I'm B2B! Back to blogging!
